Job Description:
The Employee Experience Specialist (Programme Maintenance) is responsible for the management and enhancement of existing Employee Experience initiatives that have been embedded across the Company,including wellness, employee surveys and goal management.
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
- Degree in Industrial Psychology or equivalent (Honours Degree in Industrial Psychology or equivalent)
Legal Requirements:
Driver’s License
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of Project Management techniques and methodologies (intermediate)
- Knowledge of Organisational Development (OD) principles and methodologies (intermediate)
- Knowledge of Change Management processes (intermediate)
- Knowledge of Employee Wellness benefits (intermediate)
- Knowledge of Performance Management principles and methodologies (intermediate)
- Knowledge of engagement survey rollout and interpretation (intermediate)
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years as an Employee Engagement or OD Specialist
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Employee Experience initiative maintenance and enhancement (design, planning and implementation)
- Full ownership of the maintenance, management, delivery and enhancement (when applicable) of Employee Experience initiatives that have been embedded across the business.
- Research and review business requirements and trends
- Create quarterly plans and align initiatives to both the People strategy as well as business requirements
- Where applicable, create detailed project plans in conjunction with providers to maintain or enhance initiatives
- Adjust projects and plans as per business requirements and changes
- Create, implement and maintain policies and processes relating to wellness, engagement and other surveys and goal management
- Manage communications relating to the relevant initiatives
- Manage the design, creation and distribution of any initiative-related collateral
Wellness management:
- Manage, maintain and enhance the wellness programme
- Design and implement targeted wellness initiatives in accordance with Nandoca and business needs
Create processes and plans for implementation - Research best practice across industry-related wellness programmes
- Maintain the relationship with medical aid and EAP service providers to manage service delivery in accordance with the relevant SLAs
- Manage and rollout Central / Regional support offices and restaurant wellness hubs
Survey management:
- Review climate survey questionnaire for applicability
- Review the reporting tool to ensure that it is aligned to any People department or business changes
- Liaise with Regional Training Managers and Skills Trainers to plan deployment
- Create, manage and communicate the climate survey schedule with the business
- Monitor climate survey completion rates and implement corrective actions (if necessary) to ensure 80% participation
- Review the 360 reports and implementation tool to ensure that it is aligned to the needs of the business
Set up and manage the leadership 360 deployment tool - Manage group feedback sessions for the 360 reports
- Maintain and manage other survey-related initiatives that may arise
Performance Management and Talent Mapping:
- Maintain the goal management and talent mapping process
- Upskill Nandocas on the use and implementation of the Goal Management platform
- Draft, set up and maintain communications relating to goal and talent management
- Monitor completion rates at Mid and Year End Reviews
- Compile reports and insights related to Goal Management including Company-wide trends, usage and overall engagement
Supplier Management:
- Select and recruit relevant suppliers
- Review and advise on SLAs and NDAs
- Monitor performance and delivery of suppliers in accordance with SLAs and implement remedial actions as required
- Maintain relationships and partnerships
Reporting and BI:
- Baseline metrics to measure the success of project maintenance and enhancement
- required reports to provide insights into the progress of initiatives
- Analyse data for forecasting of future requirements and needs
- Align data, trend identification across initiatives and provision of insights
