Minimum Requirements
Qualification(s):

• Welding Trade test.
• Equivalent Welder qualification registered and recognised by the Government of RSA.

Experience:

• 2 years relevant post qualification experience.

Skills and Competencies

• Good Communication Skills.
• Good Interpersonal relationship Skills.
• Be able to do all tasks of Welding processes.
• Proficient in the use of basic hand tools.
• Basic planning skills.
• Computer literacy.

Knowledge:

• Have sound knowledge and proficiency in Welding of various components to drawing as per procedures and process quality plans.
• Knowledge on different welding machines, tools and equipment, processes, consumables and materials related to welding.
• Ability to maintain high quality standard of work.
• Basic knowledge of Quality systems and OSH ACT 85 of 1995.
• In-dept knowledge of Welding techniques.
