Fire Fighter – George Municipality – Permanent Community Services.
SALARY: R 239 340 – R 310 740 (T9)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 or higher.
- 3 years operational experience.
- Code C driver’s license.
- Fire Fighter 2 accredited with the IFSAC.
- First Aid Level 3.
- Hazmat Operational / Fire and Rescue accredited with IFSAC.
- Relevant Fire Fighter certificate.
- Physically and Mentally Fit.
- Medical Test NFPA 1582; and No criminal record.
COMPETENCIES:

Functional Competencies: Fire fighting, Rescue Operations, Special Operations (Hazmat, Urban Search and Rescue), Fire Safety and Prevention, Safety and Welfare, Emergency Medical Care, Call Taking and Dispatch.
Public Service Orientation Competencies: Interpersonal Relationships, Service Delivery Orientation, Action and Outcome Orientation, Change Readiness, Cognitive Ability, Learning Orientation Management / Learnership: Impact and Influence, Team Orientation, Direction Setting, Coaching and Mentoring.
