Customer Solutions Centre Consultant – Johannesburg HQ
- Respond to and resolve customer queries via phone, email, live chat, and WhatsApp in a timely and professional manner.
- Track shipments, investigate delivery: issues, and provide updates to customers and business clients.
- Resolve complaints and escalate service failures according to the company’s escalation procedures.
- Log calls and cases accurately into the relevant systems, ensuring proper follow-through and documentation.
- Communicate with internal teams (drivers, kiosks, admin, operations) to assist with delivery queries and service recovery.
- Educate customers on service options, delivery cut-off times, packaging requirements, and booking processes.
- Support business clients with account-related queries, waybills, and courier bookings.
- Meet individual and team service targets (e.g., response time, quality score, customer satisfaction).
- Participate in regular training, briefings, and quality assurance sessions to ensure service consistency.
Minimum Requirements
- National Senior Certificate, Grade 12, or similar qualification.
- 1-2 years in a customer-facing role, preferably in logistics, retail, or contact centre environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (and/or Afrikaans, siZulu, or another SA language).
- Ability to work under pressure and remain calm and courteous with difficult or frustrated customers.
- Computer literacy – must be confident using email, CRM platforms, chat systems, and tracking tools.
