Job type: SENIOR DESPATCHER P11

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12.
• At least 2 years in Operations Department.
• Valid code C1 Drivers Licence.
• Computer Literate.
• Responsible and hard-working person.
• Must be able to work under pressure.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensuing the availability of updated scheduling and despatch documentation, verifying accuracy of completed documentation and approving variations.
2. Verifying accuracy and submitting daily operations report (Code 5).
3. Planning and ensuring bus availability for ready line, workshop service, sleeping ground positioning and private hire requirements.
4. Initiating immediate corrective action on defects, breakdowns and ensuring ready line bus availability.
5. Planning execution and allocation buses and drivers on private hires.
6. Planning and allocating duties to subordinates, and maintaining discipline.
7. Accepting responsibility for the use and maintenance of allocated company property.
8. Be able to update Driver Conductors PrDP register.
9. Be able to do plan subordinates leave.
