Job Advert Summary:

Rand Water is looking for a candidate who will be responsible for maintaining, manufacturing and installing of pipelines and structural equipment.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Qualified Welder.
• Minimum N2 coupled with a relevant recognized apprenticeship.
• 4 years relevant welding experience.
• Ability to do relevant maintenance on pipelines.
• Experience on welding aluminum and s/steel will be an added advantage.
• Code 10 driver’s license coupled with a PrDP is essential.
• Preference will be given to applicants with disabilities.

Primary Duties

• Maintenance of pipelines & structural equipment.
• Repairing pipelines.
• Standby duties.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Fabricate/make up pipe work.

Knowledge

• General maintenance.
• Safety and safe working procedures.
