Artisan Electrician X3 Job Posts – Electrical maintenance and repair of Agriculture related machinery and equipment.
Required Qualifications:
- Electrical Trade Certificate – Olifantsfontein preferably.
- Drivers license – Code 8 EB minimum.
- Wireman’s License.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years post Trade test experience.
- Poultry experience would be advantageous.
- Must be willing to work standby, weekends and overtime.
Role Responsibilities:
- Inspection and maintenance of machinery and equipment as per supplier requirements set out in the maintenance manuals and schedules.
- Planning of work according to maintenance plan and schedule and per breakdown.
- Maintenance and repair of all Agriculture related machinery and equipment in accordance to the maintenance plan and schedule.
- Assistance across all operations when required.
- Daily inspection of all work completed at Agriculture including residential buildings and issuing of certificate of compliance.
General
- Training and development of maintenance handyman under direct control to artisan level
- Maintain discipline and workmanship standards.
- Daily issuing of certificate of compliance on machine or equipment where any engineering related work was executed.
- Issue daily job cards and inspect work executed
- Maintain Daily time sheets.
- Order equipment and spares.
- Perform standby duties.
- Inspect and ensure contractual work are completed to the required standards prior to any sign off.
