An exciting opportunity exists for an E-Learning Specialist at HR Services in Bryanston, Johannesburg.

This role will report directly to the Transformation & Skills Development Manager and will include the running of the LMS platform, including the design and implementation thereof, the thorough understanding of business e-Learning requirements, as well as the smooth running and quality assurance of the online training material. This individual would also be accountable for the user experience as well as the business needs analysis and reporting on learning progress. This individual will also be required to translate existing courses into online content.  The role will suit someone with the ability to understand each business’s unique requirement, to translate those onto an LMS in an efficient and effective manner, and who enjoys working with systems in a busy environment.  A proven record of accomplishment in creating and developing training material that speaks to users would also be required.

Duties and Responsibilities The successful individual will be accountable and responsible for the e-Learning portfolio at AVI, which will include but not be limited to:

• Design, development and implementation.
• Administration.
• Reporting and Communication.
• Research.
• Training and Support of Learners and/or Users.
• Maintaining and building relationships with key customers at all our businesses nationally.

Experience Required

• Proven experience in learning design.
• Experience in course material design.
• Experience with design software.

Minimum Qualifications Required

• Completed tertiary qualification in a relevant field will be advantageous.
• An online learning qualification is essential.

Additional Requirements            

• Ability to work with Articulate Story Line.
• Knowledge of SAP systems training advantageous.
• Solid experience using Moodle Learning Management and SharePoint.
• Willingness to travel nationally to support all AVI Business Units.
