Purpose of the Job:

The Shoprite Group of Companies has a vacancy for a Property Manager in the Eastern Cape.
The Property Manager will successfully manage all buildings within personal portfolio from a profit, maintenance and safety perspective.

Job Objectives:

To prepare and control the budgets for each building/shopping area
To manage all aspects of the leasing process and the administration thereof
To timeously collect and administrate monthly rentals
To manage the building maintenance and various contractors
To manage staff and external service providers
To liaise with tenants regarding complaints, requests, etc.
To manage the day-to-day running of each building/centre
To ensure all buildings/centres comply with health and safety standards
To complete monthly management reports

Qualifications:

LLB Degree or Property Studies (Diploma/Certificate)

Experience:

3-5 years experience in Property (asset) Management
3-5 years experience drawing up & managing budgets

Knowledge and Skills:

Accounting (income & expense statement)
Contract law principles
Microsoft Office packages
Calculations
SAP Real Estate
