Purpose of Job
Applicant must have a good understanding of maintenance on various types of pumps and blowers. Must be able to work in accordance with quality plans and work procedures. Be conversant with the technical parameters governing pump maintenance regarding, mechanical seal installation, bearing clearances, gaskets, rotors, couplings, alignment and protection devices. The applicant must be a good team player, be able to work overtime and perform standby duties.
Formal Education
- Grade 12 with maths and science or N3 with maths, science and English (MUST) – NQF Level 4.
Formal Education
- Occupational Trade Qualification/Certificate.
Min Experience
- Experience: 0 – 5+ relevant years.
Licences
- Valid Code 8/10 drivers licence (MUST).
