• Diploma in Nursing: General.

• Total Credits: 364.
• Medium of Instruction: English.

Admission Requirements: To be eligible for admission to the Diploma in Nursing: General program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Qualifications:

• Senior Certificate with endorsement (Matric exemption) or
• National Senior Certificate with a Bachelor’s Degree Pass.

2. Minimum Points Requirement:

• Applicants must have a minimum of 24 points on the rating scale, excluding Life Orientation.

3. Minimum Requirements for Compulsory Subjects:

• English: Higher Grade (HG) with a minimum of E or Level 4.
• Biology/Life Sciences: Higher Grade (HG) with a minimum of E or Level 4.
• Physical Sciences: Higher Grade (HG) with a minimum of E or Level 4.
• Mathematics: Higher Grade (HG) with a minimum of E or Level 4.
• Alternatively, Mathematics Literacy with a minimum of Level 5.

4. Citizenship: Applicants must be South African citizens.

5. Residence: Applicants must reside in Limpopo Province.
