Minimum Requirements
- Medically fit.
- Reliable.
- Work in a safe manner i.e. Ensure all safety requirements are adhered too.
- Prepared to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- Clean criminal record.
- Must have own reliable transport to and from work.
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning.
- Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage and disposal methods.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team.
- Excellent organizational skills a must.
- Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision.
- Ability to work alone without supervision.
- Experience with civil maintenance work essential.
- Welding experience advantageous.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Change pipe fittings (Toilets and Geyser).
- Paint (PVA & Enamel) where required.
- Prepair surfaces for painting.
- General electric tools usage.
- Ability to work at heights where required.
- General yard maintenance.
- Needs to follow safe working procedures in line with Occupational Health and Safety Act requirements as well as that of our customer.
- Needs to wear all his PPE whilst on duty.
- Perform duties in line with dangerous goods requirements.
- Submit to medical examinations from time to time as required.
- Submit to body searches on entering and departing from premises.
- Submit to alcohol testing on entering company premises.
- Safe working at heights.
- Assist with housekeeping at any given time as required.
