A limited number of positions are being offered to the Burnstone Local Community for an opportunity in line with Sibanye Stillwater’s business needs

Learnership 18.1 Electrical

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • N2 qualifications (with all the relevant subjects for the discipline applied for) to be considered in the above-mentioned engineering trade for which the application is made

Learnership 18.1 Fitting

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • N2 Qualification with all 4 relevant subjects for Fitter trade, to be considered for the Fitting Engineering Trade

Learnership 18.2 Rigger

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • N2 certificate with 4 subjects relevant to Rigger / Ropesman trade to be considered for learneship

Learnership 18.1 Plating MW

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • N2 with 4 relevant subjects

Learnership 18.2 Learner Official Mining

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Educational Certificate with Pure Mathematics and English Communication, in order to be accepted onto Learner Official Certificate programme

Additional Requirements:

  • Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk-based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Care Centre.
  • Be recommended based on interview outcomes
  • Achieve a psychometric evaluation outcome score of 4 or higher
  • Obtain a Protection Services clearance Certificate
  • Applicants will need to undergo an interivew process and psychometric assessment, which will be considered during the allocation of learnerships
  • The selection process will not be delayed to accommodate applicants whose screening process is delayed for whatsoever reason.
  • All entry level requirements outcomes will be considered before applicant be recommended.
  • Applicants must submit a fully completed online application form, record of service, CV and certified copies of ID, Qualifications, Statement of results on the vacancies portal.
  • Applicants in possession of Section 28 or Section 26D Trade certificates will not be considered including another learnership
  • Incomplete applications will not be considered for selection.
