Minimum Requirements
Qualification(s):

National Diploma Technical

Experience:

5 Years: 2 years as Unit Controller post qualification, 2 years in a Supervisory position and 1 year as a Senior Controller or similar technical exposure
Skills and Competencies

Leadership: Coordination, management of people
Knowledge and understanding of operating processes
Knowledge of Legislative requirements
Authorised as a person in charge of the plant
Communication skills
Computer literacy

Key Responsibilities

Manage the continuity of supply without jeopardising plant and safety of personnel and to meet production requirements
Manage human resource activities
Manage operating related incident investigations as delegated
Manage the safety risk management program
Manage any emergency and emergent work while on shift
Control budget as cost centre owner
