Job Description

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The overall purpose of an Operator is to effectively operate the designated machine / equipment to support mining and / or hauling operations. An Operator is responsible for operating their machine in a safe manner to execute the Load and Haul plan.

Minimum Qualifications / Experience:

Grade 10 (Standard 8).
Valid Machine competency certificate or equivalent.
Valid Driver’s License.
Must meet the required machine specific symbol on Anglo American Dover assessment.
2 years’ experience in a mining operational role (equipment operation).
Medical Fitness Certificate, Ability to work shifts.
