JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for the clearing and painting of designated walls and fences in the trading halls and the whole Joburg Market facility using proper equipment and tools.
RESPONSIBILTIES
- Preparing the area to be painted as necessary.
- Ensure area is free from residue and dust.
- Preparing paint to be used and ensure it is appropriate for area.
- Secure/remove items and furniture in the areas to avoid spillage of paint.
- Apply paint according to standard Cleaning of an area after painting.
- Cleaning of painting equipment.
- Ensure ventilation of the area being painted.
- Use appropriate safety equipment to prevent inhalation of smell.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Grade 10.
- Painting Certificate will be added an advantage.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must successfully complete the pre-employment safety screening.
- Willingness to work 24 hours shift.
